It has been decided that no expansion in the number of candidates will be done until there will be rise in the participants, The CLAT(common law admission test) won’t get online mode.
In the fourth gathering of the Consortium of National Law Universities, there are numerous critical choices about the CLAT were made. It has been mentioned that the CLAT will be held offline on May 12. This change has been done because technical obstacles are coming in the online CLAT. This time too, CLAT had heavy technical difficulties, after which the matter went to the High Court and the Supreme Court. It has also been decided in the meeting that a permanent website of CLAT will be constructed.
Subjective questions will also be included in this year's LL.M. exam. A Question Bank will be formed to improve the quality of the question paper for which support of all the Law Universities will be seeked. Apart from this, a decision has also been taken to increase CLAT's examination center. Examination centers can be set up in some other cities too. The final decision on this will be taken by the executive committee. The meeting also agreed to organize a workshop with NAC and UGC for standardization of law colleges.
